The Collection


Frac Provence-Alpes-Côtes d'Azur


Formed of 1016 works by 440 international artists, the Frac collection reflects the variety of contemporary expression and its forward-looking approach towards acquisitions. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations, photographs and videos... thus create strong sets which are representative of great artistic trends over the last forty years. Since 2006, the Frac has directed part of its acquisitions and projects towards artistic creation from the Mediterranean basin. <br>In spring 2013, the Frac moved to a new building designed by the architect Kengo Kuma and situated in the Joliette, the working-class district in Marseille.

Frac Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur is supported by the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region the Ministry of Culture and Communication - DRAC Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
